VinFast India has finally launched its third product, the VF MPV 7, in the country with a price tag of Rs 24.49 lakh. Now, during the launch of this electric MPV, it was announced that the company is planning to launch not one but three more products in its India portfolio. So, without any wastage of time, here are the details of the upcoming VinFast EVs in India.

In the coming months, the Vietnamese electric carmaker will be expanding its portfolio in India with three new EVs. These EVs will help the brand in entering three different segments and targeting unique buyers. This strategy will help the company in increasing its market share and becoming a major player in the electric vehicle market.

VinFast Limo Green - For fleet operators

The recently launched VinFast VF MPV 7 is the seven-seater electric MPV which is being offered to family buyers. In order to cater to the needs of the fleet operators in India, VinFast will be launching the Limo Green EV MPV based on the VF MPV 7. It will specifically target taxi operators, fleet operators, and mobility platforms.

There are reports that have suggested that VinFast is planning to enter the fleet EV mobility space as well. Pricing of the Limo Green will be lower than the Rs 24.49 lakh of the VF MPV 7. Additionally, it will be offered slightly less premium styling. It is expected to get slightly changed front and rear bumpers, smaller alloy wheels, fabric upholstery, a black interior, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and others.

As for the powertrain setup, it is expected to offer the same front-mounted, front-wheel-drive electric motor making 204 PS and 280 Nm of torque. The battery pack of 60.13 kWh will also remain the same and offer a real-world range of around 500 km. Most likely, it will be making its debut in the coming few weeks.

VinFast VF3 - Affordable micro-SUV-like EV hatchback

In addition to these, VinFast will also be launching an entry-level EV for urban buyers. It will be the VinFast VF3 micro SUV-style hatchback. Once launched, it will be directly rivalling the MG Comet EV in India. The VF3 will be best suited for those commuting in densely populated areas where there is a lot of traffic. It will also lure in first-time EV buyers.

As per the reports, the VinFast VF3 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 8 to 11 lakh. It will boast a 2-door and 4-seater layout, which will be packaged in an SUV-inspired styling. Dimensionally, it will be slightly larger than the MG Comet and offer a ground clearance of 191 mm.

We can expect to see an 18.64 kWh battery pack offering a range of around 210 km. Powering the VF3 will be 43.5 bhp and 110 Nm, and 0 to 50 kmph will happen in just 5.3 seconds. The VF3 will help VinFast to become more accessible to Indian buyers, and it is believed that the VF3 will be launched in India by the end of this year.

VinFast VF5 - EV hatchback to rival the Nexon.ev

To take on the Tata Motors Nexon.ev, VinFast will be launching its affordable electric sub-compact SUV, the VF5, in India. As per the reports, it will be launched with a price tag of Rs 12 lakh and go up to Rs 18 lakh. The VF5 in the international markets is offered with two battery pack options, namely 29.6 kWh with a range of 268 km and 37.23 kWh with a 326 km range. Most likely, both variants will be offered in India.

In terms of the dimensions, it will measure 3,967 mm in length, 1,723 mm in width, and its height will be 1,579 mm. Also, its wheelbase will be 2,514 mm. Lastly, its ground clearance will be 169 mm. Design-wise, it will look like a smaller version of the VF6 electric SUV, which is currently on sale. Notable highlights will include signature V-shaped LED DRLs, flared wheel arches, 17-inch alloy wheels, and an overall bulbous silhouette.

On the inside, it will come equipped with a 7-inch digital cluster, 8-inch infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a PM 2.5 filter, voice commands, keyless entry, auto headlights, a sunroof, and others. The VF5 will be launched either by the end of 2026 or by early 2027.
